Welcome to the South Yorkshire Social Economy Forum! Join us in knowledge sharing, networking and advocacy on the future of the social economy in South Yorkshire.

Our quarterly forum is an opportunity to join with like-minded social entrepreneurs passionate about creating positive social change for the welfare of people and planet.
We are delighted to be welcoming, as this month’s guest speaker, Charles Rapson, Strategic Lead for Social Economy Growth at West Midlands Mayoral Combined Authority, responsible for delivering a 10 year programme to double the size of the social economy in the West Midlands. Charles previously set up and ran the School for Social Entrepreneurs in East and West Midlands.
We’ll be welcoming back Alice Rubbra, Assistant Director at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, for an update on the Local Growth Plan for South Yorkshire. To download the Local Growth Plan and to sign up to the SYMCA consultation workshops follow this link – www.southyorkshire-ca.gov.uk/business
There will also be a presentation and panel on Priorities for Development of South Yorkshire’s Social Economy for feedback and discussion. Download the Briefing Paper here.
