Welcome to the South Yorkshire Social Economy Forum! Join us in knowledge sharing, networking and advocacy on the future of the social economy in South Yorkshire.

Our quarterly forum is an opportunity to join with like-minded social entrepreneurs passionate about creating positive social change for the welfare of people and planet.

We are delighted to be welcoming to our next meeting, as guest speaker, Andrew Beattie, Engagement and Impact Lead at Kindred, Liverpool’s pioneering collaboration to grow investment and impact in the social economy. Kindred’s membership has grown to over 1000 socially trading organisations across the Liverpool City Region and aims to scale to £50m in social impact investment.

The event will focus on the funding and investment landscape for social enterprise including an update on the Local Growth Plan, a 10 year framework for regional economic development. We’ll be hearing from Co-ops UK about a project to gather data on the social economy in South Yorkshire and we’ll be opening a consultation on the future development and priorities for the South Yorkshire Social Economy Forum.
