Whilst we increasingly recognise the scale and urgency of the environmental sustainability challenges we face, it can be difficult to translate these into business action. Our next free masterclass for anyone registered on the Social Enterprise Exchange programme seeks to demystify sustainability and explore what it means for your business.

The session will be held on the morning of Thursday 7th July at Blend Kitchen in Sheffield and will be led by local independent sustainability and business improvement consultant, Roger Wareing on behalf of Sheffield Sustainability Network. Through a mixture of presentations and interactive sessions you’ll gain a better understanding of this fast moving and growing topic and will have an idea of the steps you need to take to respond to sustainability challenges in your own businesses.

The session will begin with breakfast and an opportunity to network with other social enterprises. There’ll be additional chances to network and to discuss your learning with others throughout the morning.

During the interactive sessions, we will work together using Sheffield Sustainability Network’s Self-Help Audit tool, which is designed to help users think about environmental sustainability in a more focused way. For this you will need to bring along your own laptop or tablet. If you don’t have a device that you can use, please just let us know and we will do our best to help.

To access this valuable free CPD you must be registered with the Social Enterprise Exchange programme and your business must be based in the Sheffield City Region area. If you have questions about the event or registration please email pete@ssen.org.uk or call 07548 831962.

We have limited spaces for this event. Book early to avoid disappointment!

We ask that you please register at least 48 hours prior to the event. Although the event is free, if you find that you are no longer able to make your place, please do give us 48 hours so that we can give relevant numbers to the venue.
