Our Lunch With… events offer a great way to help you learn from others in and out of the social enterprise sector. We believe that being inspired by others is one of the best ways to stay passionate and motivated to continue doing what is important to you… And who doesn’t need a bit of motivation!

At this lunchtime session we’ll be joined by Jo Cavalot, a declutterer and professional organiser. Since 2017 she has been helping people to create space, harmony and peace of mind by letting go of the things they no longer need.

Identifying similarities with her own mental health issues, Jo became interested in more serious issues with clutter and became a director of Hoarding Disorders UK in March 2020. Since then, she has been working to support people in South Yorkshire affected by hoarding behaviours, chronic disorganization and extreme clutter. She offers training to professionals on the front line and those affected, works to support people on a one-to-one basis and helps others to set up support groups.

Jo says that she’s always had a natural ability to create and implement systems and organise both people and their things. She had a long career in the printing industry, working in operations and production management roles as well as time as a project director. She is a member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) and is seen as a shining light in the world of decluttering in the South Yorkshire area.

Don’t forget to bring your lunch with you into this online space along with any questions you might have when you join us to hear Jo’s inspiring story.
