“After working internationally in the commercial tech industry for 15 years, Andy co-founded Yoomee as a social enterprise that helps non-profits innovate with digital. For the last 10 years, Yoomee has used startup approaches from Silicon Valley to design and develop brand new online services for vulnerable communities. Projects include supporting those with lived experience of mental health, the homeless and refugee and asylum seekers. Whilst at Yoomee, Andy has been responsible for helping Mind design and scale the UK’s most successful online peer support system called Elefriends – as well as supporting local projects to create a social business for homeless people call PrintedbyUs.org and helping local refugee organisations share information more effectively.”
